APJ Abdul Kalam Biography

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam is one of the most sparkling figures of India. He has contributed a lot to the development of India. During his childhood, he used to sell newspapers from door to door, but later he becomes a scientist and served India as the 11th President of the nation. He joined DRDO (Defense research and development organization) as a scientist in 1958 and in 1963 he joined ISRO. His contribution to the development of world-class missiles Agni, Prithvi, Akash etc for India is remarkable. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam has been crowned with Bharat Ratna, Padma Bhushan, Ramanujan award, Padma Bibhushan and many other awards. Unfortunately, we lost this great scientist on 27th July 2015.

Why can't we read or write why we are dreaming?

  Dreaming and reading or writing are controlled by two different parts of the brain. When we read or write, the part that the controls dreaming gets shut down. Hence we cannot dream when we read or write. And the vice versa is true. When we dream, the part that controls reading and writing shuts down. Hence we cannot read or write when we dream.
